The name Darjeeling, the region at the foothills of Himalayan Mountains, means" litterally “Land of thunderbolts".The tea bushes used are both cultivars of Camelia Sinensis as well as bushes old of more than 60 years, the original genus imported during the second half of XIX century from China. This wonderful first flush,has beautiful green leaves alternate to darker ones and silvery tips, in the style of Darjeeling First Flush.
